Hospitality After Holidays: Can this be a regular rhythm?

In the weeks and months leading up to Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve Pinterest is alive with party ideas, food to make, gatherings to host, decor to attempt, and all-around hosting help.

Then with the turn of the New Year, it fills up with diet, exercise, and financial solutions to help you meet your resolutions.

But, what if we considered hospitality as something important for our lives the other 10 1/2 months of the year? What if we sought to build a life of hospitality beyond the holidays? Can we welcome others in, even when the decor isn’t stunning and there is no expected reason? What if we embraced the togetherness we see in the early church (Acts 2:42) as our everyday practice?
