Hospitality as a Young Mom – Worth Your Effort
With young children in your home, hospitality can feel overwhelming. Cooking and cleaning while caring for young children is difficult, time-consuming work.
However, hard things are not always bad things. Sometimes hard things are the best things.
Hospitality isn’t always easy but it’s always worth it.
This is why 1 Peter 4:9 commands us to “offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.”
God knew our temptation would be to grumble and complain when the difficulty of motherhood seems to interfere with our obedience to this command.
Rather than forfeit or delay obedience, however, we can trust God’s wisdom and walk in obedience, asking him to supply all our needs as we do so.
